On June 7 in the U.S. and a day earlier in the UK, Mute/Reprise will release the Depeche Mode remix collection Remixes 2: 81-11. The album includes reworkings of tracks from throughout Depeche Mode's career, by people like M83, Trentemøller, and UNKLE, as well as brand new remixes from Röyksopp, Stargate, Karlsson & Winnberg (aka Bloodshy and Avant of Miike Snow), and Eric Prydz. Two former members of Depeche Mode also contribute new remixes: Vince Clarke, who went on to form Yazoo and Erasure, and Alan Wilder, who now leads Recoil.
